  I have been a member of Western Avenue 13 years and it is one of the most wonderful church experiences I could have. The people are loving and kind...like a family. They show love and support when members are going through things. The church is spirit filled with the Lord. The Word of God is taught and the people strive to live by the Word through the Holy Spirit. Visitors tell us they feel love and very welcome when they visit us. We are a progressive church seeking to do the will of the Lord and lead new souls to Christ. Most of all, we know how to enjoy life in the Lord. Visit us and see what we are about for yourself.   Unfortunately I have to adjust my opinion of this church. On the surface they appear to be godly, but after spending several months there I discovered a spiritual 'cancer.'
  
  They have fired 3 pastors in 5 years. They are run by a woman, who is supported by weak men.
  
  I pray for them, but have no plans to EVER enter that building again!

  Western Avenue Baptist Church has been a blessing to many people since it's inception five years ago. People are being blessed today, and they will continue to be blessed in the future through sound biblical preaching and teaching.
