  I've been going to St. Augustine of Canterbury since 2006, and it is a great church. Most recently, they got a new priest, who is adding new and different things.
  
  For example, two very different Sunday services. One at 8:30 is contemplative, with incense, and one at 10:30 is celebratory, with a mix of hymns and praise music. It also is very worship and people-centered. Surprising touches, such as parading the Scripture book for people to bow, touch or kiss. Father Joseph Alsay carries a spirit banner for the Gospel procession.
  
  Speaking of Fr. Alsay, he's a wonderful speaker and his sermons are prayerful, entertaining and thought-provoking at the same time.
  
  The church has begin to add several opportunities for outreach and fellowship with a fourth friday event, dinner groups and prayer groups. Come join us!

  Attending the service today was a joy. In fact, if I had to use one word to describe the service it was joy! You had a sense of ancient practices that were not stuffy rituals but rather somehow alive! Fr. Alsay preached a lively and humorous sermon that was immediately applicable to one's life. Go there now and enjoy!

  Very friendly congregation, welcoming to all. Father Alsay, the current priest, is dynamite! No sleeping through his sermons!!
  This is a great place to enjoy the rituals of the Episcopal Church in a lively and contemporary setting.
