  Dont read the one star review. I have no idea what she's talking about. Great church, great people, have the clearest view on God and his word that i've seen in a long time

  There are very few Baptist churches in America that are straight on their doctrine AND have love and compassion for others, this church is one of those rare jewels. We were members for 2 years before being transferred out of state, and we have only praise and love for this church. If you are looking for a church home my suggestion is try it for a few weeks like we did before we joined, don't just write it off based upon a "rubber stamp" review or two, I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised. No - the Pastor doesn't look down on anyone, no there is no tape measure to measure a woman's skirt length, no there is no committee at the door to evaluate your appearance before entering the church or any such non-sense. Don't get me wrong, I've been to IFB churches that do indeed look down, measure, and evaluate at every service, this church is NOT one of those places. If I had to describe this church in one sentence it would be this: A spirit filled, love motivated, Baptist church that makes Christ happy, and the Devil really uncomfortable.

  After reading the comments i was very nervous to try this church. when I went the people were all very nice and although a lot of women wore skirts and dresses a lot of women did not . I never felt uncomfortable at any point. They do use the King James version but but no one forced me to use that bible. I enjoyed visiting and will be back to visit again. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, it was refreshing.

  I absolutely love this church!!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I am fed and challenged from the preaching of the Word of God. If you have the opportunity to stop by, trust me, you will not be disappointed!
  
  I would, however, after reading Alana C's review, would like to encourage her to speak with Pastor Carter about those issues. You are not looked down upon for not meeting their dress standards. I know Pastor Carter, and he bases his standards and convictions from the KJV Bible. Not to criticize Alana C at all, but some of her review was a copy and paste about another church in the area.
